The Mission Remains to Slow The Spread of COVID-19

The Staff & Volunteers at The Strand Theater are excited to reopen the theater and welcome guests through our doors once again. We are very mindful that there is still great concern over the potential spread of COVID-19. Please know that we take the health and well-being of our patrons very seriously, and will continue to follow the guidelines and advice of public health and government officials.  We have implemented measures to assure a clean and sanitary environment, with the understanding that the health and safety of our volunteers and patrons are of the utmost importance.

Here is what we are doing to minimize risk and how you can help:

- All Volunteers wear masks when greeting patrons and serving them at our Concessions Stand & Bar

- Intensified cleaning and sanitizing of all frequently touched surfaces (i.e. doorknobs, armrests, handrails, etc.)

- Hand sanitizer is available at the Concessions stand as well as other areas throughout the theater.  Sanitizing wipes are available at the Concessions area to anyone who requests one.

- Theater staff will continue to monitor the situation, and implement new procedures as recommended by the CDC and government officials.

We ask that you remain vigilant and follow hygiene practices recommended by the CDC:

- Wearing of face coverings is required for admission and while standing in line at The Concessions Stand & Bar.

- Exercise Social Distancing to the extent possible while inside the theater

- Be courteous and considerate of others who are also trying to maintain a safe distance while enjoying the show

- Avoid close contact with those who are sick and/or exhibiting symptoms.

- Cover your cough or sneeze with a fixed elbow or tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Use hand sanitizer and/or wipes immediately.

- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

- Wash your hands frequently with hot water and soap for 20 seconds.

- Utilize the disposable wipes and hand sanitizer provided, and to bring your own portable sanitizing products for personal use.
