Full Time Profession: Actor/Writer/Producer

A graduate of Shaler Area High School in Pittsburgh and Clarion University, Clarion, PA, Ron has accomplished what many young thespians only dream about: succeeding in the pursuit of a professional acting career. Ron has appeared in numerous theatrical, television and film roles over the years.

Ron’s current projects include a starring role in the new musical, “Musical Chairs”,

written and composed by Joel Hirschorn, a Best Song Academy Award Winner. Ron will next appear in upcoming episodes of NBC’s “The Gilmore Girls” during.

the new Fall season and he will be directing the stage comedy, “The Price Is Right” in November.

In addition, Ron’s credits include television appearances on “The Drew Carrey Show”, “Days of Our Lives”, “Ellen” and “The Steve Harvey Show”, and film appearances in “Family Attraction”, an AFI Student Film with Martin Sheen and Chris Penn, and “Lost World, Jurassic Park”. Ron’s extensive stage credits include regional productions of “Murder By Moonlight”, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”, “Two Gentlemen of Verona”, “Merry Wives of Windsor”, “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Evita”.

Ron is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the American Equity Association. He is also a company member of The Actor’s Alley, North Hollywood, California.

In addition to graduating with a BFA degree in Acting from Clarion University, Ron continues to study his craft with Cameron Thor Studios, Studio City, CA.

Because of his direct industry background and expertise, Ron is able to provide a wealth of technical and strategic information to The Strand Theater Initiative. With his guidance, The Initiative will be able to design the type of facility that will attract the most talented professional touring companies and provide the best possible theater experience for patrons. Ron is able to bridge the obvious geographical gap through teleconferencing and periodic visits to the Pittsburgh area to assist The Initiative with its goals and objectives. His expertise and interest in reviving The Strand makes him a valued Initiative Board Member.
